Winter: Reflective Review & Revision (YOU ARE HERE)
Weâre seeing the cracks, the ugly, the woeful âbefore.â It is totally clear that this - this old thing? - is not it. Itâs not working and we can see all the reasons why. We arenât quite fixing them yet, but weâre getting a solid look at whatâs a mess.
Spring: Radical Change & Upheaval
Welcome to the demolition days, the time of dramatic deconstruction. Pick up a sledgehammer and get cracking, because weâre going to channel some Tower energy here and open the portal to radical change.
Summer: Inspired Planning & Pattern Making
Electric new ideas! Weâre reinventing! Drafting a new plan! This is a season of picking up the pieces of spring's mess and starting to play with reassembling them - but we canât quite see the final image yet. So we toy with it, move them around, make mock ups, and wait for genius to strike.
Fall: Wholeness & Restoration
Ah, itâs starting to look so good. Things have come back together - not like they were before - but bigger, better, more aligned with your vision, and its thanks to your love and nurturing that we got here - the beautiful, transformed after.

Ladies & gentlemen, please remember that Venus is the star of the show in March, but she's not alone! She has a powerful ensemble cast of Virgo / Aries eclipses helping shake things up, and her old friend Mercury Retrograde is jumping in the mix, too. Are you getting excited yet? Because I am ALMOST hyping myself up for this.
Venus Retrograde asks that we reflect on what we truly value. Her objective is introspection around relationships, self-worth, love and resourcing.
The Goddess is, in a no-nonsense way, telling us we canât have what we want unless we do the necessary work on our financial literacy, clarity of values, and relational intelligence.
Well... duh.
But also... sigh.
VENUS RX in Aries (March 1 - 26) is about going after what we want for (and within) ourselves, and also where we need courage, boldness and willingness to begin.
VENUS RX in Pisces (March 27 - April 12) is about realizing what we need to surrender or let go, where we need divine help to receive what we want, and also boundaries issues & self worth confusions and delusions that need our attention.
Venus is the Lover (of both Self & Other).
Sheâs the Goddess of Beauty, Harmony, Pleasure, Abundance, Love, and Justice.
Ruling Taurus, she teaches us self-love + pleasure.
Ruling Libra, she teaches us other-love + harmony.
This is important: when she goes retrograde, we are presented with choices that call into question self love vs. other love - but remember despite appearances, these are NOT mutually exclusive.

Venus Rx âą 8 Year Cycle
Every 7th year is a Venus year of contemplation and attachment, in which we grow in what, how, and who we love. Year 8, weâre presented with a retrograde, a time of 2 choices, in which we must refine our values and decide.
Venus Rx occurs in each sign once every 8 years. The last time we had Venus Rx in Aries (bold, brave choices about where you want to begin, lead, initiate, or make the leap) was 2017.
Before that, it was -
Spring 2001. My first âbigâ love, and first heartbreak. Cheated on right after my dad left my mom. It broke my heart. I had to make a choice - to love myself and grow stronger, or abandon myself in a downward spiral of suffering. I chose the latter, and suffered for the next 8 years.
Spring 2009. Tail end of the sugar baby years. I was betrayed and manipulated (too many times) and got sick of it. Had to choose between a baby with a con artist evangelical or an abortion and my own path of freedom. It was abandon myself and stay with that guy (ew) or let go of the baby, love myself, and walk away. I chose the latter, and the path of showing up and telling the truth. Months later, I met Brent, and fifteen years later... well you know where we are now.
Spring 2017. My first spring as a mama to Tanner. I was struggling to believe I could make it as an entrepreneur, and felt like I needed to choose between being a mom (get a real job and have some security) and the risks of entrepreneurship. It was abandon my dreams and go into the machine, or love myself and keep taking the risks. I chose the latter, doubled down on my calling, and have been dancing with motherhood and my own soul work ever since.
Spring 2025. YOU ARE HERE. Iâm not sure what choice is presenting itself now, but I can see the loose shape of a pattern. Itâs not as simple as âthem or me,â but itâs something more nuanced - how do I sense what is right for me, what honors my soul growth, what will resource me financially and also honor my values?
Venus (and life) doesnât just give us a choice once. Life tends to give us similar choices again and again. Think of each of these years as one more circular lap around the spiral path. Weâre arriving to similar choices, but weâve grown wiser, more relationally intelligent, more attuned to the beauty we want to weave in our lives.
Think back to eight years ago. What were you doing? What did you choose in spring of 2017? What crossroads are you meeting again? Youâve been here before. These are the same crossroads as before.
Youâre a little different but youâve been here before. Each time you choose, you begin another lap on the spiral of becoming more of who you are, in greater alignment with your values.
