I don't know if I've ever been this ready for a new moon.
Since December 6, every lunation (new and full moon) has been impacted by retrogrades and eclipses, creating energy that was ripe for reviewing, releasing, and realizations, but not giving us the fertile space for new life, new growth, and new intentions.
I'm happy to say that Taurus season is officially here, all planets are currently direct, and this Sunday, April 27, we have a strong, sensual new moon in Taurus inviting us to plant our feet firmly upon the Earth and draw the feminine intelligence of ruler Venus into our lives in practical, grounded, physical ways.
This new moon is about giving roots to a new pattern in your life, perhaps one that has started to unfold just in the last few months or weeks. It encompasses the breaking of an old cycle (one potentially ancestral and intergenerational, not just 'yours') and the seeding of a powerful new vision and ideology for your life.
Think of this as giving ruler Venus a hand-drawn map for where she will journey over her next 225 day cycle; think of it as collaborating with the Goddess (the vibrant, animate force of energy within and behind all that is) in naming and claiming what is written in the next chapter of your life, especially as it pertains to liberation, sovereignty, and creative self-expression.
What we plant with this moon has great potential to grow, bud, and blossom in the physical realm. Taurus is connected to self-worth, values, beauty, pleasure, the body, senses, and finances. We are held in the unified field of potential to create gorgeous, grounded, steady, stable, beautiful abundance with this lunar cycle. Just as trees are meant to bear fruit, so are we designed to be naturally self-nourishing.
