Welcome to an epoch of fire and air. Welcome to astrology the world has never seen before. Ooh, that sounds dramatic, doesnât it?! I suppose we could say that every day⊠BUT there is something extra potent about this year, this portal where ALL of the outer planets change signs. Neptune made its way into Aries last month, opening a new 165 year cycle of vision, philosophy, spirituality and worldviews.
As of May 25, Saturn has also officially moved into Aries, marking the beginning of a new 29.5 year karmic cycle. Reflecting back on what the previous cycle taught us in terms of maturity, devotion, mastery, skill, and becoming the architect of our own lives might be a lot to chew on; for me, itâs the story of everything that occurred since I was ten years old. Standing now at the threshold of forty, I wonder what I want to design, build, create and leave as a legacy over the next thirty years. It feels like too much to contemplate at all once, to be honest.
Looking ahead at June, we will see Jupiter - fairy godparent of the Zodiac - move their expansive, magnetic, YES energy into the sign of Cancer, domicile of the great mother, a place where they LOVE to reside. What has felt fragmented will be supported in reclaiming wholeness.
But even as Jupiter provides a stabilizing influence, Uranus, planet of liberation and awakening, will move from earthy Taurus into airy Gemini, marking a new seven year cycle in which weâll see lightning speed advances in AI, technology, and communications.
How will we hold the magnitude of cosmic change upon us? The same way we always do, I think: one human-centric moment at a time. One baby step of realization and learning after another. One thought, one story, one parcel of perception at a time.
