What are the bones of this project, at the level of antisocial business? This is a question I’m sitting with as the days slowly tick by in winter’s march towards the calendar new year. 

My primary objective is to create pathways for people to find my work that aren’t social media. In order to do that, I need to be clear in who I am, what my work is, and how it serves others. 

In January, I’m going to be focused on improving my website with pages aligned to each of my content pillars, effective keyword usage to support search engine optimization, and developing ‘pillar’ blog content that shows potential clients who I am and enables them to sense whether we are a good fit to work together. 

As I review these pillars, I am particularly interested in how they are working together to create cohesion in relation to my legacy, my north star, the work I hope I’m here to do with my life. 

Ultimately, if I speak in plain terms (and why wouldn’t I, I’m talking to myself), I believe I’m here to help women stop fucking hating themselves, realize that their dreams and desires exist for a reason, and support them to recover a sense of agency and autonomy that empowers them to take meaningful action towards who they want to be. 

I talk about unwinding internalized patriarchy, because for the women who tend to relate to me most, this is one of the core aspects of systemic oppression that adversely impacts their ability to move in the most liberated, authentically self-expressed ways. Patriarchy is merely one aspect of dominator culture, but for western women (especially those of primarily European descent), it’s often an insidious and invisible layer of conditioning, which, once recognized, pushes open the door further to sense and see other aspects which limit self-actualization - colonization, racialized superiority or inferiority, human supremacist ideology, heteronormativity, and the list goes on. 

Anyhoo, lest I wander off and accidentally clamber up on my soapbox, let me get back on the track I intended to take today: 

WHAT ARE THE BONES of this project, for MONTH 1, when it comes to antisocial business? What are the objectives, exactly?

1. Establish pages on my website for 4 areas of work (aka content pillars):

• Business Strategy

• Astrology Guidance

• Spiritual Counseling

• Medicine Work

2. Ensure that each page leads to a clear conversion outcome. 

• Business Strategy: Book 1:1 coaching consult or strategy session

• Astrology: Purchase self paced guide, custom report, or book 1:1 

• Spiritual Counseling: Book 1:1 counseling session (sliding scale)

• Medicine Work: Join retreats wait list or purchase mushroom course

3. Keyword research for each of these pages following current best practices

   1. Add H1 and H2 (header and sub-headers) that feature top keywords

   2. Optimize images and SEO settings for the page with clear meta description featuring ideal client's most likely search terms

   3. Hire SEO expert to review these 4 pages ($1975 investment)
