Today is the day. Saturn makes an exact conjunction with Neptune at 0* Aries, the genesis point, zero point, the alpha and beginning.
Their merging is a spark, blazing into fire in the fertile void, alive with the kindling of new pathways. It's the deepest dark suddenly infused with blinding light, saturated with infinite possibilities.
This is a threshold moment, PERSONALLY and COLLECTIVELY. This is an area where a whole new era is beginning for us. We are DREAMING (Neptune) a NEW REALITY (Saturn).
What old habits, structures, patterns, and empires (Saturn) are dissolving within us? Saturn wants to honor this grief, how we’ve learned to rest, and what is leaving, but also turn its attention to the NEW.
Look at the chart below for this moment.
It’s as though all the planets (archetypes) gather around Saturn and Neptune to witness. And what a worthy moment it is to witness, as we have not seen this conjunction for over ten thousand years.

Dare to Dream and Build What You Imagine
Neptune teaches us to dream, dissolve, imagine, and love. It rules the imaginal realm, the place of dream, symbol, archetype, and cosmic blueprint. It is the realm where all music, art, poetry, and divine inspiration exist between lifetimes - the liminal realm of creative cosmic potential.
Saturn matures us and mandates that we stand straight and commit to the architecture of our destiny. It commands us to build our legacy with integrity. Saturn has a very specific function in astrology: it makes what is vague, elusive, or imagined... real. Saturn gives form to Neptune, making the intangible, tangible.
We live in 2 parallel dimensions: the one we can see, hear, smell, and touch, and the intangible, imaginal, liminal, astral, and otherworldly realms we can feel, vision, and know from the ‘other’ ways of knowing.
In the imaginal realm, the vibrational level of resonance, frequency, potential, quantum, everything exists simultaneously as a possibility, before it takes shape. This is the realm of Neptune, which holds the divine blueprints of everything.
We spend most of our waking time in the material realm, the familiar 3D world of physical senses, time, limits, cause and effect, and tangible outcomes. Ruled by Saturn, boundary keeper of abstraction and reality, this is the place where divine blueprints become ‘concrete’ to the senses by translating them to earth-based form.
Something is coming into form now.
As soon as it enters Aries, Saturn directly taps into the imaginal realm and pulls something out of it, turning what was only an idea, a vision, or a feeling into something that actually exists in the world.
0° Aries is the very beginning of the zodiac. What births with this alignment will be very different from what may have emerged from the past 282 Neptune-Saturn conjunctions.
Neptune and Saturn meet - at SOME point in the 360º zodiac - every 36 years.
But meeting at 0º Aries... that has not occurred for 10,155 years (Astrodienst).

Shaping a New Myth & Reality
Whatever Saturn architects and begins to scaffold now will remain with us for a very long time. Its longevity is rooted in the creative potential of the zero point of Aries, the navel and solar plexus of the Zodiac, the point that rules life force itself.
Similar conjunctions of Saturn and Neptune occurred at the arrival points of the Neolithic revolution, the Chalcolithic transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age, and the invention of the printing press.
But what about back further? What of 20,000 years ago? What about the ancient myths that we remember from the time before time?
What has been gestating during Neptune in Pisces is now ready to come to the surface and take shape in lived, 3D reality. But this doesn’t mean we are creating something from scratch. No, there's something that's been biding it's time in the liminal realm, something from ancient memory and divine intelligence, that is now ready to return to form.
Something that belongs to the deeper fabric of existence, the universal tapestry and cosmic soup, is now being translated into structure. As it comes into form through Saturn, it also becomes alive in our 3D awareness. We can now not just see it, but sense it and shape it.
We are the co-creators of ancient myth, and collaborative shapers of a new reality.
What we live from here will not be according to an outside narrative, but a story we see, sense, shape and step into ourselves. With Saturn crossing that zero point with Neptune, divine awakening takes form. The old rules no longer apply. We cannot unsee what we've seen. At the reset point, the old story no longer holds any power over us. We have no choice but to BE who we really are.
The Cosmic Reset is here, alive, NOW.
What we do with this time is important, essential even. It’s the liminal space where the old cycle completes, and the new one takes shape. Our personal myth and new reality will be seeded into form, structure, and direction.
So tell me, beloved, what are you dreaming into reality?

Saturn Neptune Conjunction Aries (February 20, 2026)
Let's look back at these two magnificent planets meeting up in Aries in the past.
- April 29, 8129 BCE (01º Aries)
- April 12, 5832 (07º Aries)
- March 11, 594 BCE (02º Aries)
- March 19, 555 (07º Aries)
- March 22, 1380 (21º Aries)
- March 27, 1703 (11º Aries)
And now, again, but this time at the ZERO POINT of Aries on February 20, 2026.
It bears noting that these two planets conjoin (meet up, merge) once every 36 years. However, the sign varies with each meeting, and what makes this transit so significant is that the conjunction on February 20, 2026 at 0º45’ Aries.
The zero point in astrology represents a powerful, raw, and pure initiation of energy. It acts as a "gateway" for new beginnings, often indicating a focus on public, collective, or karmic experiences. In transits, a planet crossing into 0° can act as a catalyst, triggering rapid change or the beginning of a new long term cycles.
The last Saturn conjunction with Neptune at 0º Aries is unknown, but estimated by many astrologers to be around 9000-10000 BCE. The date I found was April 29, 8129 BCE, according to an Astrodienst ephemeris, at 0-1º Aries), which was 10,155 years ago (Astrodienst, p. 131).
This time coincides with the early Neolithic period (New Stone Age), an era characterized by the transition from hunting and gathering to settled agriculture and the domestication of animals, a process known as the Neolithic Revolution.
Ephemeris for BCE show that they also met at 7º Aries in 5833 BCE, during the turning of the Neolithic to Chalcolithic Age, when we moved from Stone to Metal for weapons and tools.
The last Saturn conjunction with Neptune in general was 1989 in Capricorn, on March 3, June 24, and November 13 at 10-11° of the sign, symbolizing a major historical pivot that dissolved rigid structures (Saturn) through idealistic or chaotic movements (Neptune). This alignment coincided with the collapse of the Soviet Union, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the Tiananmen Square protests, marking a shift in global power and ideology.
When two planets are conjunct (or “in conjunction”), they’re essentially so close they could cuddle – or, if it’s exact, right on top of each other. If that happens, both planetary principles merge and become one.
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, so whatever happens to us and for us around this time truly is a new beginning.
(Re)Birth, a Fight for Life & Survival
Saturn is the planet of karma and structure, the ruler of the earthly laws of form. Neptune is the planet of ideology and beliefs, ruler of the divine laws of symbols. Aries is the sign of courageous new beginnings, and as the ruler of the zero point, it provokes us to decide, begin, and ACT in ways aligned with our life-force energy and our animal instincts towards survival.
As the ruler of Aries and a god, Mars wants us to fight for what we truly desire; to stand for what makes us human; and to remember our sovereignty, courage, and passion. We are asked to lace up our boots and get walking towards the future we imagine. “You have to give the god what the god wants. And if it’s Mars, don’t offer a bunch of flowers!” (Greene, 1990).
0° Aries functions less like a typical beginning and more like a hinge point where something becomes operational before its meaning is settled. With Saturn involved, structures are enforced. With Neptune involved, clarity, consensus, and shared belief continue to dissolve. Historically, this combination shows up when a new reality is declared while uncertainty remains high.
Spiritual Battle with Saturn-Neptune Conjunction in Aries
Saturn and Neptune are traditionally spiritual planets. Saturn ruled spirituality before Neptune. Neptune is the modern ruler. You might think of this as organized religion and traditional ritual (Saturn) versus multiplicity in spirituality and consciousness-expanding transpersonal experiences.
The age ahead is one of long transits of these outer planets through Fire, a sign that is active when we need to create, fight, or begin. In Aries, this fight may be about defending our beliefs, our personal power, and creating change.
“Saturn and Neptune converge to represent a humbling force where we must be held accountable to higher spiritual standards. It is an opportunity for governance on Earth (Saturn) to aspire to a more enlightened vision of universal order (Neptune)" (Fernandez, 2023).
The questions of the time are these:
- Who are you and what are you willing to fight for?
- Where do you find meaning, drive, reason to act? Who has power and control that you don’t consent to anymore?
- Where have you compromised yourself and your dreams, your inner connection to God/Truth?
- What would it mean to fight for what you believe in, but also know you might not win?
- Where were you asleep to conformity and illusion, and are now waking up?
It’s Saturn and Neptune. Dream but work for it. Believe but practice. Create with discipline.
At zero Aries: take action and fight for yourself, fight for LIFE.
Every Beginning is an Ending (and vice versa)
We are clearly heading into a period where old certainties (Saturn) are being eroded by the crumbling of illusions and the erosion of long-cherished ideals (Neptune).
If you’re familiar with the Tarot archetypes, 0° Aries reminds us of the Fool. This is the first card in the deck – the innocent stepping into the unfamiliar, one step ahead of the known, into the unknown with trust.
Similarly, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries feels like a new beginning, but also like something we’ve always known – something that existed before time was born. It’s a return to ourselves AND to the world – starting from zero and returning to zero.
With one foot on the edge of the known and one already stepping into the unknown, we are at the center of ourselves and the world at the same time; the zero point from which new possibilities (Neptune) begin to take form (Saturn).
Regardless, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at the zero degree of the zodiac marks a shift where we are no longer willing to live our lives by inherited or outdated scripts.
“We’re all facing important life passages now. Soul contracts call; many end…we’re all, each of us, grieving in some way, and we need to make space for this; to grieve our old selves, our comfort zones, our security,” (Grisham, 2025).
Whether we recognize it in the moment or only later, looking back in retrospect, a new era will be born, a fundamental shift in how reality is structured and experienced.

Neptune and Saturn in Aries
“What you do as an individual is what matters. If you want a positive new beginning or a cultural renaissance, you will have to create it yourself. This transit represents a test of faith and integrity, one that demands a willingness to take responsibility and act to make a difference in the world.” (Davidson, 2025).

First, Look Back at Neptune in Pisces
To speak of the Neptune in Aries experience is to speak of the next 13-14 years. So first, look back - what has been your spiritual journey since Neptune arrived in Pisces in 2012? What was that chapter for you?
In what way was it a story of delusion and illusion, deception and realization, becoming the divine hotline of intuition, recognizing your interconnectedness with all beings, seeing the face of God in yourself and others, and experiencing an ego dissolution?
In what way was it a story of fantasy and glamour, of waking up to the universality of suffering and the importance of compassion, whilst also getting a fucking wake-up call about boundaries, escapism, addiction and self-harm? Did you meet yourself as God and find yourself an infinitesimal speck all at once? Did you float in an ocean of grief, directionless and drifting, until you learned to navigate by feel or second sight?
The world of our five senses is not the totality of being. This intelligence is the awareness we are given by Neptune when we speak of it as the ruler of spirituality. It reminds us that there are far more possibilities, probabilities, actualities and factualities in existence than we can grasp in our hands. It speaks of subtle realms, the multiplicity of truths and perspectives, alternate realities, different dimensions, and an expansive, boundless, shape-shifting quality of consciousness accessed in dreams, visions, and the imagination. Neptune is the archetype that blurs fantasy and reality, softening the membrane between worlds so that divine creativity can slip through and make art that builds new worlds.
So now we know this intimately, more of the way in which we are weaving the fabric of reality through our own perception, imagination and projection. And knowing this, we stand upon a new threshold - Neptune in Aries, for the next 14 years.
A New Spirituality: The Warrior for Life
What is open with Neptune in Aries is a new spiritual path forward. It is not for the faint of heart, but rather the path of the warrior. To be a warrior implies that we are preparing, training, practicing and yes, perhaps even engaging in warfare. With what or whom depends on each of us, but to come face to face with Neptune in Aries means we face the spiritual aspect of ourselves - and existence - which is willing to stand up, to face adversity, to fight for survival, for creation, for Life.
In the years ahead, those of fire and air, what we all called to stand watch for, remain vigilant towards, or attend mindfully to, is the way in which many people will become lost in a Neptunian haze of fear and panic.
From my teacher, Steven Forrest, I learned that Phobos and Deimos are the two moons of Aries’ planetary ruler, Mars, and the two moons of the shadow of Neptune's transit here.
Phobos - fear.
What is fear when we transmute it - when we see it, feel it, and act anyway? Courage.
Deimos - panic.
What is panic when we alchemize it? When we sense it, name it, and move it differently? Decisive action.
See, these are Neptunian processes too - transmutation and alchemy. Those ways of energetic shapeshifting which dissolve one thing into goo, and from it, birth another thing closer to a divine ideal (or so we think).
For every spiritual warrior, the ultimate battle is with fear itself. “Fear is the mind killer.” Fear has intelligence, which helps us observe threats, assess safety, and ultimately keep us alive. But fear, in trying to help us avoid suffering, discomfort, or the unknown, also pulls us out of the present moment, destroys mindfulness (being fully with what is), and may rob us of the opportunity to practice presence and grow beyond our perceived limitations.
Yet without fear, we cannot - rather, it is impossible to become braver. In a sense, as the soul evolves and becomes more courageous, more willing to look at its own wholeness, scary stuff becomes a necessity.
How can we meet our shadow without facing fear in the face? How can we become whole without meeting our shadow?
The years ahead are an invitation to put on the armor of your divine strength, to embrace courage and decisive action as a philosophy, ideal, and perhaps even religion.
Neptune in Aries says: I am willing to feel the fear. I am willing to face the shadow. I am willing to act. I am willing to decide. I am willing to die for this. I am willing to LIVE.
I AM WILLING.
Living a Life to Die For
What will you die for? This is a question asked by Neptune in Aries. What are the causes for which you would be willing to offer your life? What do you believe in that is bigger than yourself? What would you stand for, even at the risk of your own extinction?
Do you have something in your life - a belief, cause, or love - for which you would willingly die? This does not mean twisting this into the shadow of the blood myth, which sheds your life for a dollar, for a nation, for a particular political or party line.
But imagine for a moment the emptiness of saying no - no, there is nothing on Earth, nothing in life, nothing in existence I would die for.
Do you want to live in a world in which you - this body, persona, ego, is the be-all and end-all of what you’ll live for? No right answer, that’s up to you.
Somewhere between dying for the cause and having something so beautiful it’s worth living for is the essence and wisdom of Neptune in Aries.
Feel that for a moment.
We are moving towards spiritual breakthroughs that require courage.
We are moving towards real, embodied, living and breathing shadow work. If we don’t face the things inside of ourselves we are afraid of, we will project them out into the world and attack them.
Speak up. Stand up. Take action. Walk the walk. Keep one foot in the world. Call out harm when you see it. Protect and defend those less protected than yourself. Be willing to fight for what is right, as you see it with your second sight.
We will be called to protect something that matters to us. It will be scary to do so. The awareness cultivated during the water years will now move into the world through righteous action. We will be asked to DO SOMETHING with the spiritual gifts we hold.
There is a paradox here: Be a warrior, but do not be attached to the outcome of war. Take a stand on righteous anger, but do not hold onto your anger or your belief in your own righteousness.
We must watch for being consumed by fury, especially at a broad swath of people who represent something we swear does not exist within ourselves.
We must watch for allowing fear and futility to turn fury inwards and fester into suicidal ideation or paralyzing self-loathing.
We are invited to learn what it means to us to live the adage: It’s a good day to die.
Realizing you could die today, how will you live?
