Let’s be honest

Microdosing has a bit of an image problem.

On one side: the biohackers with their spreadsheets, their productivity metrics, and very specific protocols for unlocking peak performance or optimizing for neuroplasticity. Microdosing as a supplement and tool - those shouting from their podcast that microdosing is the hot new way to be relentlessly efficient in a hyperindividualist culture.

On the other side: the total hippie weirdos, 'trippers' who went way beyond this realm in a past high-dose experience and now have a lot of opinions about ego death - those loudly proclaiming that if everyone would just eat mushrooms, we'd have world peace...

Ok, I admit. That's not not me. But hear me out.

Somewhere in the middle is the actual experience most people have of working with psilocybin gently and intentionally; Quieter, stranger, warmer, and considerably more interesting than either of those camps would have you believe.

What shifts

You start seeing life differently.

Noticing things, like the quality of light through the trees. You actually stop to look at it. A song makes you cry in the kitchen, and the tears feel useful somehow, like the body finally got the memo. You catch yourself in a pattern you’ve run a thousand times, and for some reason, this time you can see it. Not with judgment, just with this odd, spacious curiosity, like: oh, there it is.

Synchronicities get easier to spot. The universe seems to be winking at you, specifically, like you’re both in on a little secret that you can’t quite articulate but that you feel in your chest.

Complexity and simplicity intertwine. Things that were complicated become simpler. Things that were simple reveal layers. You smell the roses. Sometimes you cry about the roses, which is completely fine.

This is not optimization. It's attunement. You're seeing, perhaps for the first time in a long time, what is actually present.

MicroLove is a container for this kind of exploration: Gentle. Curious. Held. Reverent. And often, a whole lot of fun.

“My session with Amelia was deeply profound. Not because she told me something I didn’t know, but because she spoke truths my soul had been carrying for years and reflected them back so clearly.

There are sessions that give you information, and sessions that give you yourself back. This was one of those sessions.”

The Journey

Seven Weeks of MicroLove

A complete arc from preparation to integration

Move at your own pace with full access to all materials, or join the group for live integration sessions via Zoom.
Each week includes a video lesson, integration practice, journal prompts, and an optional live group call.

01

Introduction

We begin with welcome, orientation, and honest conversation about what this medicine is, what it isn't, and how to approach it with both curiosity and care. You'll receive your downloadable guides, orient to the program structure, and begin to clarify your intentions before the journey starts.

02

Preparation

Preparation is where the real work begins, long before the first dose. We cover sourcing, scheduling, and the somatic and contemplative practices that create the conditions for the medicine to work. Includes lineage teachings on the history and stewardship of psilocybin, and the Earth Body Meditation.

03

Body + Mind

The body is not a container for the mind. It is an intelligence of its own. This week deepens into the somatic dimension of microdosing, how to work with what arises in the body, and how to build practices that resource you. Includes updated Fully Awake Breathwork and a 35-minute somatic practice.

04

Relationships + Environment

Microdosing affects the relational field. This week explores how your practice lands in your closest relationships, how to tend the container of your environment, and how to work with what surfaces relationally. Includes the Grief Practice and Water Ritual and Loving Kindness Meditation.

05

Creativity + Spirit

Something opens here in the creative and spiritual channels that is both deeply personal and difficult to fully explain. We explore how microdosing affects the creative process, how to work with mystical or unusual experiences, and how to tend your spiritual life as the medicine asks you to pay attention to it. Bring your art, your confusion, and your wonder.

06

Soul Journey + Ceremony NEW 2026

This week is unlike any other in the program. We move into ceremony: structured ritual space, guided soul journey practice, and ceremonial frameworks for working with the medicine at a deeper level. Full ceremony guidance, integration resources, and optional support for those holding this week in Portugal are all included.

07

Integration + Reflection

Integration is the practice that makes everything else matter. This final week is dedicated to weaving together what you've learned, what has shifted, and what still wants attention. We revisit original intentions, map what has changed, and build a sustainable practice to carry forward. The final group integration session closes the cohort here.

You, right now

Spirit has been tapping you on the shoulder.

Not an emergency. Not a crisis. Something quieter.

A sense that there is more available to you than what you’ve been accessing. Not more in the “achieve more things” way — in the “actually be here for your own life” way. The creativity that keeps almost surfacing. The grief that’s been waiting patiently for a moment of real stillness. The part of you that has been trying to say something but keeps getting interrupted by the very reasonable business of being a person in the world.

You’ve done real work on yourself. You know your patterns. You have a practice, or several. You have language for your experience that most of the people in your life don’t fully understand, which is fine, you’ve made peace with that.

And still, something is circling. You can feel it - the whisper of Spirit asking you to listen.

You’ve wondered about microdosing. Maybe you’ve already tried it on your own, and it did something interesting, but you weren’t quite sure what to do with what it opened. Maybe you’ve read about it and felt the recognition of yes, but I want to do this mindfully. Maybe someone you trust told you about it at exactly the right moment, the way things tend to happen when you’re actually paying attention. Maybe you just LOVE the mushrooms and want to share the love in community (hey. me too!)

You don’t want another protocol. You want a real container. Simple practices. Engaged conversations in an open-minded community. Insights from a fellow traveler (and guide) who has studied this not just academically but through her body, her life, and authentic spirituality.

You want to get to know yourself a little better. Because actually, you like yourself, and you're curious about the deeper layers of your being. You're just enough of a weirdo that you’re willing to invite the ancient, strange and wise mushroom friends to help you do just that.

That tracks. Welcome.

Who this is for

Here for the soul-seekers.

You’re genuinely curious about microdosing and want to approach it with care and intention.
Not as a protocol to optimize, but as a relationship to begin.

You want the history and the lineage, not just the schedule.
You want to understand what it means to receive this medicine with reverence, and what is lost when we don’t.

You value somatic practice and embodied knowing alongside the intellectual.
You want something that works with your whole self, not just the part that reads research and takes notes.

You want communion and community.
Holding the medicine and circle as sacred, things become possible together that felt impossible alone.

You are willing to be surprised, and to 'not know.'
You're willing to follow the thread of your own curiosity wherever it leads, including into territory you didn’t expect.

You are open and willing to tend with tenderness.
With the same care you might bring to tending a garden: patient, attentive, genuinely interested in what grows.

This program is not appropriate for anyone in an acute mental health crisis, on contraindicated medications (SSRIs, MAOIs, lithium), or not in a stable place for intentional psychedelic practice right now.

If you’re unsure, email amelia@ameliatravis.com before you enroll. Genuinely. We will talk it through.

How it flows

MicroLove is a 7-week journey into building your own relationship with this medicine.

Notice: your own relationship. Not mine. Not the protocol someone else designed. Not an optimized stack someone wrote about online, but intentions and dosing specific to your body, your nervous system, your history, your intentions, your particular and unrepeatable version of what it means to be you right now.

You are centered. Your agency, sovereignty, choice, and desire of how to proceed are respected and held with care.

First, before meeting the medicine, we build the foundational practices for your body, your breath, your attention. We bring in the lineage, because psilocybin is not a new discovery and the humans who have worked with it across centuries and cultures deserve more than a footnote. We establish your intentions: not goals, not deliverables, just the honest question or longing you’re bringing to this.

Over seven weeks, we move through the terrain of what microdosing actually touches: your body and nervous system, your relationships and environment, your creativity and spiritual life. Week by week, you’re building a living relationship. Noticing what shifts. Noticing what surfaces. Learning the particular language your own system speaks when it’s trying to tell you something.

There is also, throughout all of this, laughter. Community. The particular warmth that happens when women who are paying attention to the same kinds of things find each other. Questions you didn’t know you had until someone else asked them first.

It is not a curriculum you complete. It is a relationship you begin.

How I got here

2020: The mushroom showed me a casket.

Mine, specifically. My “girl boss” self, laid out and being honored. Which was not, I want to be clear, something I had asked for or expected to see that evening.

But that is the thing about ceremony. You bring your intentions and then the medicine very politely (or sometimes not so politely) suggests that perhaps you had a different idea about what needed to happen than the actual situation calls for.

What died in that 2020 vision was a version of me who had been performing success for a long time: 800 yoga teachers trained globally, a coaching practice, a TEDx talk, a carefully curated presence in the world of entrepreneurship. From the outside, very impressive. From the inside, a growing sense of wrongness, like wearing a dress that fit fine three years ago and now keeps pulling in all the wrong directions.

What was born after, slowly and without any particular elegance, in a village in Portugal with good light and unreliable wifi: this work.

I went back to school. MA in East-West Psychology at the California Institute for Integral Studies, with a thesis on psilocybin-supported feminine rites of passage. I read everything I could. I sat with the medicine many more times. I held space for other women going through their own versions of what I’d been through; the part where something that no longer fits needs to be honored and released so something new can arrive.

I have a treatise on mushroom work called Rhizomatic Rematriation: Psilocybin-Supported Feminine Rites of Passage. I'm wildly curious about how mushrooms support the composting of old identities and values, especially those assigned by the overculture and systems of oppression. My work is deep, serious, and well-researched. And it barely scratches the surface of the range of mushroom experiences, which are also absurd, funny, bewildering, loving, and magical in indescribable ways. Seriously, it's not that serious all the time.

The mushroom is many things. Ancient wisdom teacher, yes. Also mischievous, playful, irreverent, hilarious sometimes, surreal as in more-real-than-real. It teaches through laughter as readily as through grief. It will show you what needs to die but it will also show you a caterpillar doing something extraordinary and ask you to just look at it for a while. It might even show you the caterpillar in you, ready to become a butterfly.

Who knows what will come? The only thing I know for sure: I’m genuinely delighted you found your way here.

“I saw myself die a thousand times… and then, I saw myself live.”

Questions

Soul Journey FAQ

Is this legal?
MicroLove is an educational program — information, practices, integration support. We don’t source, supply, or facilitate the use of controlled substances. Laws around psilocybin vary significantly by country and are changing rapidly. Understanding the laws in your jurisdiction is your responsibility.
Do I need prior experience with psilocybin?
Not at all. Weeks 1 and 2 are specifically designed to orient and prepare beginners. If you have experience and want more structure and depth, the program is also designed for you. Both are welcome.
What if I’m on medication?
Some medications — SSRIs, MAOIs, lithium in particular — have significant contraindications with psilocybin. We cover this in the materials. Please consult your prescribing provider. And genuinely, email amelia@ameliatravis.com before you enroll if you have any questions.
Is this therapy?
No. Amelia holds an MA in East-West Psychology and is a Certified Spiritual Counselor, but MicroLove is an educational and integrative program, not a clinical one. If you’re in active mental health treatment, please check in with your provider before enrolling.
I’ve done a lot of healing work already. Is this still for me?
Almost certainly yes, and the work you’ve done will serve you here. What this program offers is different from most modalities: somatic practice, lineage teaching, genuine ceremony, relational container, and the particular thing that happens when women who are already paying attention go deeper together. The sophistication you’ve developed is an asset, not an obstacle.
Can I go at my own pace?
Yes. Lifetime access to everything. Live sessions are optional and recorded. That said, the program is designed as an arc and following the sequence tends to deepen the experience.
Will something dramatic happen?
Microdosing is gentle by design — sub-perceptual or slightly perceptual, not a full journey. What tends to happen is quieter and stranger than dramatic: you start noticing things. Old patterns become visible in new light. The tears that needed to come, come. The creativity that had gone somewhere, starts coming back. The universe occasionally winks at you. We can’t promise specific outcomes. We can promise a container worthy of whatever arrives.
What if the sliding scale doesn’t work for me?
There’s a community access option starting at $85 — pay what you choose, no questions asked. It’s there for folks who need more financial support, want to work at their own pace, or are navigating unequal access due to local economies and/or systemic disparities.
What is the Portugal Immersion?
An optional in-person experience for those who want to hold their Week 6 ceremony in physical space. Quinta Mourada, Oeste region, an hour north of Lisbon. Cork forests, wild rivers, extraordinary light. Facilitated by Amelia and co-facilitators. Limited space. Details by email: amelia@ameliatravis.com.

“Amelia's guidance, including medicine ceremony, helped me take my spiritual, soul-aligned business dream and make it my reality. Far more importantly, she has supported my stepping into self-trust, surrender, curiosity, joy, and awe, not only in my work, but in my life.”

The invitation

The medicine is waiting. It’s been waiting for a while, actually.

Somewhere in the course of reading this page, something either lit up or it didn’t. That’s useful information.

If it lit up: you probably don’t need more persuasion. You need the link, which is right below.

If you’re in the interesting territory of it-lit-up-but-I’m-not-sure: that’s fine too. That’s actually a very good place to be with this medicine — curious, a little uncertain, willing to stay in the question rather than resolve it too quickly. You could email amelia@ameliatravis.com and ask your questions. You could sit with it for a day. You could let your body, which probably already knows, weigh in.

What we are building together in MicroLove is not a transformation package with guaranteed outcomes. It is a container for your genuine inquiry into your body, your relationship with this medicine, and your unique version of what it means to be more present, more alive, more here for the strange and extraordinary experience of being you.

The mushroom teachers have been here for approximately 1.3 billion years.
They are ancient, patient, and not in a rush.

But the cohort starts June 30, which is a real date, so come on in.
